This class is for little artists to create independently and meet new friends! Each class starts with a little movement to get us ready to focus. Then, we'll read a story and watch a painting demo to learn how to use the tools. After that, the youngest artists will work on a painting exploring elements of art and the proper use of tools.


This class meets in tandem with our parent/child painting class. If your artist is very young, we encourage parents to participate as well to help ease toddlers and young preschoolers into the routine.The last 15 minutes of class will include appreciating each other's artwork and unstructured playtime so that our paintings can dry and we can get to know each other.This class is best for 3 to 5 year olds. If your artist is older or younger, let us know! We are always up for letting someone try this class on for size.While this class is not strictly sequential, artists will really thrive if they come regularly and learn routines.
